In our efforts to appease the atomic octopus that lives beneath the Black Rock Desert, in hopes that it bestows great weather conditions at Burning Man 2026, we humbly offer this. An Octopus Of The Day, or Occo The Day. We think the more fun weird pictures we make, find, or post… the better the chances are for a great weather year.
That kind of challenge sounds like our kind of fun. We may not have a post every single day, but we’ll be thinking about it. We’ll share some of our favorites as often as we’re able to. Today’s Occo The Day entry is absolutely silly. While working on a project that involved creating things on shelves, we could not resist making octopus figurines. This little guy has a very analog and hand-painted look that we find delightful and charming.
