In our efforts to appease the atomic octopus that lives beneath the Black Rock Desert, we hope it bestows great weather conditions at Burning Man 2026. Therefore, we humbly offer this. An Octopus Of The Day, or Occo The Day. We think the more fun weird pictures we make, find, or post… the better the chances are for a great weather year.

That kind of challenge sounds like our kind of fun. We may not have a post every single day, but we’ll be thinking about it. We’ll share some of our favorites as often as we’re able to. Today’s Occo The Day entry is a messy bartender in our kind of dive bar. Art all over the walls as well as the bar itself. Unclear if the octopus has been painted, tattooed or both. It is colorful, fun and completely unexpected.
