In our efforts to appease the atomic octopus that lives beneath the Black Rock Desert, in hopes that it bestows great weather conditions at Burning Man 2026, we humbly offer this. An Octopus Of The Day, or Occo The Day. Moreover, we think the more fun weird pictures we make, find, or post… the better the chances are for a great weather year.
That kind of challenge sounds like our kind of fun. We may not have a post every single day, but we’ll be thinking about it. We’ll share some of our favorites as often as we’re able to. Today’s Occo The Day entry is a trippy little monster that fills us with delight. Meanwhile, we had been working on a number of pieces that had referenced a photo of the Atomic Octopus installation. Since we did not start with a clean slate on another piece, what we got had some resemblance.
