In our efforts to appease the atomic octopus that lives beneath the Black Rock Desert, in hopes that it bestows great weather conditions at Burning Man 2026, we humbly offer this. An Octopus Of The Day, or Occo The Day. We think the more fun weird pictures we make, find, or post… the better the chances are for a great weather year.
That kind of challenge sounds like our kind of fun. We may not have a post every single day, but we’ll be thinking about it. We’ll share some of our favorites as often as we’re able to. Today’s Occo The Day entry is a lovely ceramic sculpture of a sugar skull octopus! It is part beautiful and part bizarre and we are here for it! It came from the same session that brought us this delightful guy in June, and we’re glad to give it a moment.
