Burning Man 2026 Events at Atomic Octopus

The 30-foot Atomic Octopus has returned to Black Rock City, and apparently it brought a cocktail calendar. Atomic Octopus has activities planned throughout burn week, but two Burning Man 2026 events will anchor the festivities at camp. Monday Morning Mimosa starts the week with bubbles, juice, coffee and Spam. Then, Wednesday evening brings espresso martinis, fresh popcorn and music as the sun disappears behind the mountains.

Find Atomic Octopus at 3:15 & Bodhi, then look for the enormous mechanical octopus. By the way, this is just one of the highlights you can expect if you’re looking for neighborhood fun in 2026, and it is considerably easier to spot than a street sign during a whiteout.

Monday Morning Mimosa Starts the Week

The first featured party begins Monday with the return of Monday Morning Mimosa, running from 10 a.m. to noon Burner time. You’ll want to add this gathering to your itinerary.

Readers of our Mimosa Octopus adventure already know that Occo takes brunch beverages rather seriously. On Monday morning, Atomic Octopus will break out the bubbles and orange juice for a relaxed start to burn week, setting the stage for what will be a memorable lineup of 2026 events at Burning Man.

We will also be cooking and serving varieties of Spam, because nothing says Monday morning on the playa quite like sparkling beverages and sizzling mystery-adjacent meat. Not drinking alcohol? No problem. We will have juices and espresso drink options available too, which is perfect for anyone who wants to keep things non-alcoholic. We will also have the big games out and the rubber stamp bar will be available.

The Time Traveling Coffee Bar will join the fun, continuing its important mission to keep Black Rock City caffeinated across time, space and several of the better dimensions. Meanwhile, our 80s Retro Music playlist will provide Monday morning’s soundtrack. Expect a healthy dose of familiar favorites while sipping a mimosa, drinking an espresso or contemplating another piece of Spam.

Espresso Martinis, Popcorn and Disco on Wednesday

Our second featured Burning Man 2026 event begins Wednesday at sunset. The Time Traveling Coffee Bar will fire up again for our Espresso Martini party, serving cocktails made with freshly brewed espresso. Non-drinkers are equally welcome to stop by and enjoy an espresso as part of our fun on Wednesday. Big games? You bet – and the connect 4 game was made for playing at night!

Meanwhile, we will be popping fresh popcorn and offering a variety of seasonings. Actually, popcorn and music always make for unforgettable Burning Man 2026 events, so grab a cup, season it to your liking and settle in as Wednesday afternoon turns into evening.

Atomic Octopus is not a sound camp, but we certainly have music. Wednesday night will likely lean heavily into selections from our Disco Music playlist, bringing some dance-floor sparkle to the playa as darkness settles over Black Rock City. Espresso martinis, fresh popcorn and disco beneath a giant mechanical octopus: these are just the sort of moments that define Burning Man events in 2026. Wednesday could certainly be worse.
