In our efforts to appease the atomic octopus that lives beneath the Black Rock Desert, we hope it bestows great weather conditions at Burning Man 2026. Therefore, we humbly offer this. An Octopus Of The Day, or Occo The Day. We think the more fun weird pictures we make, find, or post… the better the chances are for a great weather year.
That kind of challenge sounds like our kind of fun. We may not have a post every single day, but we’ll be thinking about it. We’ll share some of our favorites as often as we’re able to. Today’s Occo The Day entry is strangely beautiful – a ghostly atomic octopus hovering above a desert sunset. We really love the light fixture which borders on being a chandelier hanging below. Jump ahead to the 25th to see another octopus with a chandelier, or to July 2nd to see one in the big city. This is another case of playing with generative AI and getting unexpected and unwanted results for the project at hand. Still, we discovered an interesting image.
