In our efforts to appease the atomic octopus that lives beneath the Black Rock Desert, we hope it bestows great weather conditions at Burning Man 2026. Therefore, we humbly offer this. An Octopus Of The Day, or Occo The Day. We think the more fun weird pictures we make, find, or post… the better the chances are for a great weather year.
That kind of challenge sounds like our kind of fun. We may not have a post every single day, but we’ll be thinking about it. We’ll share some of our favorites as often as we’re able to. Today’s Occo The Day entry is a steampunk octopus floating above the empty desert. It is delightfully detailed and downright gaudy, complete with a chandelier hanging below. We like this one even more than the first! How do you think it compares to this one?
