In our efforts to appease the atomic octopus that lives beneath the Black Rock Desert, in hopes that it bestows great weather conditions at Burning Man 2026, we humbly offer this. An Octopus Of The Day, or Occo The Day. We think the more fun weird pictures we make, find, or post… the better the chances are for a great weather year.
That kind of challenge sounds like our kind of fun. We may not have a post every single day, but we’ll be thinking about it. We’ll share some of our favorites as often as we’re able to. Today’s Occo The Day entry is two images that give a peek behind the curtain working on Atomic Octopus camp! The two shots show a view through the Vision Pro headset as we work on 3D models of Atomic Octopus camp in Cinema 4D. In both images, we’re in virtual environments. The one above shows us hard at work on the beaches of Bora Bora, while the other shows us getting the bike racks and camp sign models put together from Jupiter’s moon Amalthea.
